In the Japanese company’s latest attempt to go head-to-head with Apple's iPod, Sony is ready to roll out yet another digial audio player in the Walkman series. This model, the NW-A1200, offers 8GB of internal storage, up to 20 hours of use per charge, and compatibility with the AAC audio format Apple uses with their iPod digital audio players.

Already available in Asia, the Sony Walkman NW-A1200 will be making its way to the United States and other parts of the world in June 2009. There is no current information on the cost.
